Don't Follow Your Heart

Ever receive the advice to "follow your heart?" I hear this advice given to heroines in romance movies when they are not able to decide which man they should choose to be with. But the Bible says, in Jeremiah 17:9, that "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?" Kind of scary, right? Jesus says to follow Him when making big - or small - decisions. My heart has fooled me several times when I listened to its leading. I think I will not follow my heart but will follow Jesus, He has yet to disappoint me.
