I Like This Version of Cinderella

The cartoon drawing on the left makes me laugh, because I can totally relate to this version of Cinderella. Bring on the shoes! Unlike Cinderella, no prince has purchased any of my cute shoes for me. They have been bought with my hard earned, non-fairy-godmother money.  But if truth be told, my mom has been my fairy godmother up until I started earning a salary after college (and she still sometimes likes to play this lovely role - and she's got great taste!). So here's to real fairy godmothers, cute shoes, and those handsome prince charmings that have either already come or will come into our girly girl lives!      

p.s. watch out for frogs and you don't have to kiss them to find out that they're not really princes (I know, different fairy tale, but you know what I mean) :)
